November 2021
MA Creative Writing DCU
Absolutely delighted to have been
awarded 1st Class Honours!!
This is an evening to honour and celebrate Sarah, and to collect as many funds as possible for North Devon Hospice. Hospices in the UK rely on donations.
"Kind donations like yours means we can provide the care and support needed for a patient and their family, whether that’s on the bedded unit at Deer Park in Barnstaple, in the comfort of their own home, or at The Long House outreach centre in Holsworthy. Generosity like yours keeps our patients pain free and comfortable, whilst also offering much needed emotional support for their loved ones for as long as they need us. This all means we can be there for all the family, during the toughest moments of life. This outstanding care is only possible because of donations like yours."
We ask that you send a donation in Sarah´s name before attending this reading. Thank you so much for your support!
Come and join us, sit back and listen to the wonderful readers who will each be reading Sarah´s work, and also some of their own poems. Readers include Sue Finch, Beth Brooke, Rhona Greene, Damien B. Donnelly, Paul Brookes, Lucy Heuschen, Kim Russell, Merril D. Smith, Doreen Duffy, Oormila Vijayakrishnan Prahlad, Giovanna MacKenna, Matthew M.C. Smith, Mark Anthony Owen.

STACCATO, Dublin's Spoken Word Event founded by writers Tanya Farrelly and David Butler.
(Our aim is to show case the best of poetry and prose by both new and established writers. There will also be a featured musician on the night. The last half an hour is an open mic session where audience members are invited to read flash fiction or poetry! Event takes place in the basement of Toner's Pub (Baggot Stree) on the last Wednesday of every month)!
I was delighted to be included in the reading line up
and another great Staccato night I read as part of the open mic...
